We tied on Croc.

One of those colours that doesn’t need explaining.

Dark back.
Green through the body.
Broken pattern running the length.

It holds shape in the water.
Doesn’t blow out.
Stays exactly where it needs to.

Slightly dirty water.
Low light _  early mornings, late afternoons.
When fish are sitting deeper.
When you need something with presence, not finesse.

It’s not a subtle colour. It’s one that shows up.

This one’s been fished in everything from the rivers to the dams.
